Hey Frank, How did you get into racing and what is Favorite Race Experience?: I grew up in East LA and on Sundays after church we would walk past Cal State LA and there was always a parking lot track. I would stay and watch until the races were over. I guess thats kind of how I got the RC bug. As far as my favorite race experience it would be running the GT10 Series. Its my first On Road Series.
How are you holding up in the series? Well, so far so good. But we all know anything can happen.
Who do you think is your biggest rival and why? I would have to say that all the racers in the Spec series are my biggest rivals. It only takes one mistake to screw up your day.
What are your thoughts on having a GT10 Series in SO. Cal and what do you love about the GT10 series? I am going to be honest, this is the first GT car is have run. I have always been about going fast with a sedan. But it takes so much more skill to wheel a car that pushes in every corner and is not very stable on the straight.
What would you like to see in the future?: I think what we have now is very cool.
What is the best Advice you can give a Beginner?: Dont give up. It takes very many years to figure out how to wheel one of these vehicles. Ask for help. You won’t go far trying to figure things out yourself.
Any last thoughts: I would like to first thank you Charlie for giving us somewhere to basically play with our toys. If we didn’t have people like you who take a risk at something they love. Would like to also thank Mitchell, Don Natale and anyone who has ever given me any kind of helpful advice.
